How to save a G3 wearable fit to G8 without it trying to re-autofit to character.

I took a clothing item built for g3, autofit it to a custom G8 character and then zbrush'ed it to fit perfectly and saved the morphs as a support asset. I then saved it as a wearable.  However when I try to apply the wearable to the character it says it is unsupported and forces it to autofit again, which ruins it.

I tried saving it as a new prop/figure asset with compatibility set to G8 but it still triggers it to autofit again when applied to the character.

So i have my scene file with the clothing + morphs and fitment on the character, but I can't save out it as a wearable to re-apply it.  How do I save this out properly?

If you save it as a SUPPORT ASSET - FIGURE/PROP ASSETS. it should work, it does for me.

Nope, that's was so frustrating, it seems like it should work that way but it still triggers the popup that it's unsupported and has to autofit even though I set everything to G8 Female.  .

Ok I figured it out.  Even though I saved it with G8F as the prefrred base, that somehow didn't mattter. I had to go in and set the scene identification for that asset separately to G8F before I saved it out.
