DS 4.11 Beta view problem / question

With DS 4.10's Universal Tool I'm used to moving the cursor around and seeing the name of whatever it lands on, with no highlights. (Image1)

DS 4.11 Beta's Universal Tool highlights anything the cursor lands on, much like 4.10's Surface Selection tool. (Image2) Since the Universal Tool is what I mostly use, I find this distracting, annoying, and much less useful.

Is there a way to remove the highlight (i.e. change the view so it's like the older style)?

In the Draw Settings pane adjust Node Hilghlighting to Bounding Box Only.
