Help Creating Morphs?

I seem to recall a while back (I know there is a thread about it, but can't find it?), that you can have an obj morph of a model you made in whatever and import it to Daz to make it a morph for the Gen4 series or Genesis1 model, I don't use Genesis2. I can't remember what you need to do this or if it's even still possible. This is for Daz 4.5 and Morph Manager is ringing a bell on my memory.
I have two morphs I did. One is from the dials for Genesis1 and I can't remember how to save that. They other is some changes I made for V4 and M4 and I think I need a plugin or something that Daz 4.5 has to make a morph. Also I do want to distribute these, so have to make sure I save them correctly. I am aware I can't change the mesh to create the morph, I can only move it around.
While on the topic, can the same steps be used on other models like Nursoda's characters?
Also is there a way to make them available for Poser without using Poser, my P6 version refuses to work on my computer and can't buy a newer one at this time.
Any help to get me started on this would be appreciated.

All you need to do is export as OBJ, in the case of Genesis making sure that Mesh Resolution is set to Base, then import using Morph Loader Pro or Advanced - make sure you use the same preset exporting and importing. However, any additional linkages (correction morphs for expressions or joint adjustments) will be lost doing this so it's of dubious benefit. The other option is to use ERC Freeze to create a master slider which sets all of the morph sliders, or simply to save a shaping or pose preset.
Thanks for the feedback Richard. I have no idea what ERC is, I keep seeing it around, but no clue as to what it does or how to use it. Are there any links to tutorials about it?
I don't have to worry about everything you said for Genesis, as that morph is, think the term is dial spun, I just need to save it, then find someone with the same morphs packs I do and in Poser to save for that program, I think I know where to get help for that part.
In essence you are saying Morph Loader Pro or Advanced will work with the Daz models as well as others?, cause that would be great. It's mostly a sizing thing I want to do and Nursoda's models are limited in how much you can change them with the provided morphs.
I also have to figure out why CPM didn't work on the textures I made for a Genesis2 outfit (Daz only product), but it worked on the model I made.
ERC is one morph, or joint rotation etc., controlling another morph. If you are using dial-spun characters then I really see little benefit, and significant potential losses, in spawning a new combined morph - why are you wanting to do this?
I want to create some new characters for some Nursoda models that will require me taking them to Hexagon and somehow create a morph for use in both Daz and Poser. Dial spun created characters I can handle, but when using Hexagon to do it, I am lost.
Using the Hexagon bridge you should get a morph when you return to DS, but saving that morph may be tricky. Exporting a CR2 should be safe (assuming it's a Poser-format figure) and exporting an OBJ and then loading it with Morph Loader as needed should also work - the default settings, other than the preset for scale, should work fine if you give the OBJ the name you want for the morph.
Well the Nursoda models are Poser figures, but how do you get a cr2, I thought Daz only saved Daz format files and the cr2 was only necessary to Poser?
