I'm having problems with https://www.daz3d.com/side-layered-messy-hair-with-dforce-for-genesis-8-females I tried both the supplied choices of Transition from Base Pose and Animated 60 frames but still got poke through in the arm and chest. I'm by no means an expert with dforce so hoped this would work out of the box. Am I doing something wrong? I will try some of the manual posing but I thought dforce was supposed to magically work...

In my experience, you need to make sure that the hair isn't touching anything before the simulation. if it is even close to touching, it will just imbed in the mesh and hardly move at all. That being said, I freakin love this hair. Seems Linday's Dforce hair is all I use now

I haven't used this yet, but I did get it. There is some quality setting for force, I can't remember what the options were called, but higher quality I think can help with collision. Because if the hair want generally moving out, it almost looks like it isn't colliding with the arm at all. The previous suggestion of ensuring there is no mesh intersection before you start is probably the best place to start.

With the classic long hair I use the included morphs to move the hair in to a good position before doing a static drape.  I have yet  to do an animated drape with it.  I have yet to get the new one too.

Old, and off-topic, but what gloves are those? I love them O.O
