DAZ Products No Longer Exclusive?

So I get a newsletter for DAZ this morning and a newsletter for ---another 3D store starting with a Y---. Both have Actual Hair 2. Released on the same day by the same PA.

The version here has Genesis, Genesis 2 & V4.
The one there has V4 & Dawn.

I thought products sold here at DAZ were exclusive. Just curious...has that changed?

    they aren not exclsuive.

    However, if an item is sold here and elsewhere, the DAZ item must sell for the lower price

    It is not the Actual hair V4 that is on sale there, it is an upgrade that will allow people who have the V4 version sold here to upgrade it to fit Dawn, rather than buying the version specifically for Dawn.

    This is incorrect.
    The hair sold here is Genesis, Genesis 2 & V4.
    But the hair sold there is for Dawn only. Dawn products aren't hosted here at Daz.
    There is, however, an Actual Hair 2 V4 to Dawn upgrade being sold there for those who have already bought the version here but want to use it on Dawn.

    OK - that makes sense. Thanks for the clarification. Nice looking hair textures on that hair btw. That's what made me notice it. :)

    No probs, and yup , I agree the textures turned out superb. Nothing to do with me this time though ;)
