Daz 4.10 Crashing while Saving Prop

Just tried to save a prop & Daz Studio 4.10 crashed - twice. Has anyone experienced this error?

Which command - File>Save, or one of the File>Save As options, or one of the File>Save As>Support Assets options, or a separate script, or File>Export?

    Save As > Support Asset > Figure/Prop

And this is 4.10.0.123? Is it happening always, or only with certain items?

Yes 4.10.0.123 and it happens with everything (originally a .obj item) when I try to save them.

  • Same here. It crashes as soon as I click the menu item.

  • same here, and i'm in 4.20

After three years it is unlikely to be exactly the same issue. Is this save and save as, or only save? How are you telling Daz Studio to save?

I had the same issues several times and I had to save these items as Scene subsets (that doesn't crash) :(

Today, I exported OhMyLashes for Genesis 8 (from Renderosity) as OBJs to convert them to Genesis 9, the conversion went fine, but when I wanted to save the "base" as a "Figure/Prop asset", DAZ Studio crashed again :( I checked the logs and there were no errors at all.

I was able to save the 5 lashes as a Wearable preset though.

Nevermind, I found the solution on another topic :)

I never installed PostgreSQL because I don't use smart content and it was working fine, but apparently it's required when creating an asset.

    Thanks :)
