James for Christian 8 applies when i open G8 characters?

Just bought james for christain (mostly for hair and such). now when i opebn up another G8 character i get the James charcter also applied.

i looked in the parameters and this is a 0% default - so i am at a loss.

That's the head morph, it's been driven by soemthing else (note that the Raw value is 0) - check the master James slider.

Ok finally back to my machine, and the James slider was set to 100 and default 100. (the James master slider was not under "currenlty used" so that messed me up in diagnosis.)

is there a way to tell the system to NOT do this whenever i apply a new figure to my G8m?

This is unfamiliar territory so thank you for any help you could offer.

When did you last update James? That was an issue with his original download, but he's been updated twice since then, and the problem's been fixed.

At the very least, depending on how you install things, he should be uninstalled (if you use Smart Content) and reinstalled (Smart Content, Manual Download, DIM) to get the most recent version with the fixes.

If that's happening again with a fresh download (as it seems it may be from your original message), then open a ticket with customer service, because they have UnFixed something. I'm baffled as to how they could break him again without pushing out an update, but James hasn't shown an update in DIM since the last fix.

Rocco is the character you were trying to use, right?

YES!

the uninstall and then DIM reinstall picked up the product update! so we are back in business!

yes, rocco was an example character that i installed.
