is 4.10 Beta public build still available?

is 4.10 Beta public build still available? I can't seem to find it available. I only use the public builds because I don't want my content rearanged. My HD crashed on one of my two machines. I have to try to recreateit back.  I'm using 4.10 on my other machine. Used to have it on the crashed machine. Just trying to get back so I can work between both machines.  Do I have to go to 4.11 public build on this machine in order to do it?  Then maybe same on the other machine?

Thanks Steve,

Only the latest version is available, older versions can’t be downloaded anymore.

But there’s nothing stopping you to use the General Release with the same content directories as for your Beta install.

Are you sure?? Because I thought, I understood that the only way to keep your content in a non-Smart order,(as it was) was to use the Beta Public builds.  I can not afford the content to be rearanged in any way. I have many many complicated projects going back many many years.

DS will not rearrange your content or categories (though you should of course export your metadata and back-up the database as a matter of routine).

I’m not sure I understand what you want to do...  You can definitely use the regular content library tab rather than smart content in the general release, if that’s what you meant.

Betas work the same as general releases, they’re simply installed in a different directory.  When a version goes out of beta Daz builds a new installer but the rest of the functionalities don’t change.

Well, I meant it's always wise to do back-ups - not that there's any great risk associated with the process (if you are already on 4.9 you've made the transition to the new tables).

Sorry I lacked to answer that My problem is that I NEVER made the switch to smart media or how ever the new database system is described. I have so many projects using Poser, outside models and Daz assetts before that database switch happened in 4.9, (you say?) I thought it changed around 4.6 or something, but what ever. No matter how easy Daz made it,, I'm just so afraid that I, me in particular will totally screw up the transition so that I will loose all the work over the years. I can't afford that and if it will happen to anyone,, it WILL happen to me. So I stay with Beta - Public Builds so that I can keep the previous version and still the assets as I originally  set it up (as Someone in this forum suggested). That's why I do this.

Thank You it seems to be wroking. I would have reinstalled 4.10 public if it was available as a stand alone instead of using the install manager. I don't like loosing control like this.

    Thanks again

    Steve
