Is there a way to hide light geometry?

I bought some lights from renderosity and kinda lika them. It comes with a rim light that is a point light with a huge rectangle as the light geometry. At certain camera angles this white rectangle can be visible.

I'm wondering if there is a way to hide this rectangle and keep the same lighting it brings?

I think the lights come from this product link removed as unneeded

Theer will be a render Emitter otpion that will hide the light from diect view. it will still, however, show in reflections or if viewed through another surface. If you want to make the light (almost) invisible you need to use an actual mesh, with the emissive preset applied, and set the Cutout Opacity to a very low but non-zero value - however, this will also kill any specular effect from the light (since it isn't going to show in reflections).
