Easy skin with Iray (free PDF step-by-step guide)

I remember finding skin very challenging when I first started Daz, so I've just written a short (8 page) PDF guide to getting great looking skin. It also covers how to save your skin as a materials preset and apply it to a new character just in seconds.

Feedback is welcomed.

You can find the PDF here at ShareCG.

Sorry, but it is not a tutorial, but rather a brief step-by-step guide. Since it doesn't explain why change specific parameters and why we need specific values.

Thanks for the helpful comment. I’ve changed the title and the post above.

    Well,

I suppose the parameter-values are only some good starting points. It depends on your likes how far to go.
And of cause it ever depends on the base color of theused skin textures themselves. This can be very different.

So use the values as a start and fiddle around. That's the best way to get an own feeling how it works.
