Problems saving and opening .duf files

I've just installed the latest version of DAZ on my Mac: DAZ 4.10 pro on MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Early 2013) OS High Sierra 10.13.6.

When I come to save a scene a few things happen. So I go to 'Save As Scene' under the menu and the dialogue box is invisible. I have to put my workspace into the doc to see the save as box which is hiding behind it, instead of being in front as it is in every other piece of software I've ever used.

So far, so good. I give it a name and save it in my default document daz scene library. When I go back to find it, the software has given it another name like Scene.duf or Library.duf - not the name I gave it.

Next I go to Open (doc the workspace to view the box) select the .duf file which then does not open in the workspace. The only way I can get it to open is to locate it in Open Recent under the menu, when I does open.

So how can I get a scene to save with a name I give it and how can I open it by selecting it later on? Obviously opening recent is only any good if I only work with one or two files but its a bit precarious.

I reported a bug on that or something similar with save/open dialog, that if you doubleclick on save button it will open two instances and one will become dead, so look for that (fixed in 4.11 public beta I think)
But you might have other problems as well..

I just do File->Save As.. select destination, give  a name and save, never had any issue doing it that way.  But if you click on a file in the save dialog it will chanage savename to that name, so migth be that.

And where do you save it?
