DFORCE freezes Daz Studio

I am having trouble with Dforce totally freezing up Daz Studio. It will begin simulations, hit 1% and totally freeze until I have to Ctrl Alt Del to kill the not responding program.

I've cleared the cache, marked invisible everything but V8. And no change.

I have run Dforce successfully on my computer before; are newer Dforce items more intense or something? (One culprit is Fringed Brezzy Dress).

Any ideas? thoughts? Special Lovecraftian incantations to get Dforce to work for me?

What kind of graphic card do you have?

  • Thanks for responding,

Some dForce items do need a lot of dForce computations, and the Fringed Breezy Dress is one of them, so the simulations can take a long time, seeming not to be doing anything.

I assume you are making invisible everything other than the clothing and whatever they are to interact with? Because everything visible affects simulation time, even eyelashes, hair, fibremesh brows, props etc.

Despite that, sometimes simulations do freeze Studio, and you have to force it to close. That happened to me a couple of hours ago, in Studio Ver 4.10, but I then tried the same thing in Studio 4.11 Beta, and it did not crash - though the clothes did explode.

    I hope that helps.

That is quite a demanding outfit, as I recall, though it didn't lock up (on a 750Ti).
