Parenting two ends item

Heres one for you.

I am making an aniblock for a G3 character jumping rope.  So far so good.

Now comes the tricky part How can I take a posable rope and parent each end to both hands so the rope follows the jumper?

I tried parenting to one hand but dang if I cannot get the other end to behave. It has a mind of it's own. Is this even possible?

Any ideas welcomesmiley

    Here's a similar thread https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/314226/how-to-attach-a-leash-to-a-hand#latest

I'm afraid it's not possible, you need to use some workarounds.

    A few thoughts:

First pose the rope into a general swinging shape, save as a pose preset. Create a null object, position it in the center of rotation for the rope, name it "swing rope", parent the rope to it, then parent the null object to your characters hip. Make a few poses for the rope, like up down front back or whatever. Animate your character jumping without adding the collars /arms, and animate the swing, make it sync with the leg/foot movement, then make partial poses for the arms that work with the rope poses, start adjusting the whole thinglaugh It might even workcheeky

I will give that a try and let you know.  Not a high priority project so may be a few days but this looks like a way to go.
