Wow ! been a super long time, since I used 3DL.  When I apply AoA ambient and distant lights, V4 turns black.  I increase intensity, nothing.  Thanks for assistance.

...and you're using 3DL shaders and renderer, I assume?

4.10 pro, lights always worked before, just forgot how to use 3DL, Rofl !!!  Been on Iray, since release.

Did you switch to the 3DL renderer before creating the lights? Do the standard DS lights work?

    Yes, DS lights work fine.

Well try re installing the AoA light pack, that's all I can think of right now.

Thanks friend, re-installing did the trick.  Lights were in content library/load, but when I checked DIM, lights were not installed.  Strange.

Ok glad you got it to work! I had to re install all my AoA stuff after installing the 4.10 beta, for some reason;)

Was this the first time you'd used a beta? The reason is that some plugins (such as the AoA lights) need special code to tell DAZ|Studio how these particular plugins work. This code is installed into the D|S program folder — but if you later install a D|S beta, the plugin code will not exist in the beta program folder, which is separate from the full release program folder. The normal fix is to uninstall/reinstall the plugin, this will install the plugin code into both the release and beta program folders.

Yes it was. Thanks for that piece of info:) However that doesn't explain the OP's issues. I think something changed after DS4.9, that the AoA products didn't like? Anyway, reinstalling fixes it, so...that's nice;)

Not sure; it's been a while since I last used the AoA lights. The only issue with them that I know of is that they're 3Delight only and don't work with the Iray renderer.
