Can't get Magic to work.

Hi All,

I have been trying to get Magic to load, but keep getting an error that says to see the log.

Where might this log be located, or am I overlooking / missing something.

For some reason I am not able to attach a screen shot. The file is FSLem Magic Blade 02.DUF. I did try other blades with the same results.

Many Thanks

Larry

That is a material preset that you must apply to FSLem Magic Blade.duf. All those materials are applied to the coresponding prop after you load one.

The shaders are a bit different. You must select the surface you want to change in the Surfaces tab and then apply the shader preset.

The log file is under Help->Troubleshooting->View Log File...

are you loading the prop or the shader?

you need to load the file that says prop, you apply another shader or material  to that with it selected just clicking on a shader or material by itself will give an error.

Hi Wendy, sadly, the FSLem Magic Blade 01 is not labeled as a prop, actually none of the FSLem Magic is labeled.  I can only find them when I go to the Content Library.

Any suggestions on how I can either label or maybe add MetaData??

I don’t have this product sadly but I suspect you are looking under smart content

the content tab (The regular folder file structured dumbass one I use not being smart cheeky) should show it on the thumbnail icon but you may well need to rebuild your data base if nothing anywhere is showing as props, figures etc on the thumbs

Hi Wendy, I don't know the real magic, but in the content directory I right clicked on FSLem Magic Blade 01 the clicked "Show Asset In" then I selected "Smart Content Files". Then all the FSLem Magic appeared in Smart Content and tested perfectly.

    Thanks for the help!!!!!!!!!!!!
