This is a NAE from me. I'm still goofing around with lighting and shadows and stuff. Balloon placement (done in Photoshop) is the biggest pain in the rump compared to old school. Honestly? I had an easier time drawing comics than doing it this way...but that's just me. I started out back in the stone age...

LG since you are using DAZ2 did you ever happen to download Joe's shader set? and see what they do?

I guess why I don't particularly care for the cartoon rendered stuff is because of the way it handles shadows. Or maybe it's because of how it looks against the original. I really like the original, one of the few Studio only renders I've done that I really like...although the way it handles lighting (as compared to Bryce) is a little clumsy (or maybe just different) to me. Poser lighting used to drive me nuts and Studio is a bit of an improvement, but I feel I have a better mastery of Bryce overall. Here's the original render to show you what I mean. I may go back and re-do it in Bryce for no other reason than because I can.

I found some toon shaders for Bryce. Do you have them? They are Bryce5 presets. Kind of cool I have been playing with them in 7. Not getting very far with getting a toon render out of it. My DAZ to Bryce link is not working and so I am rethinking what I am goint to do for a scene. And you my friend do not have the heart to do a bad one. It is not in your nature or your make up. It just won't happen. Cause you have been saying that for the last 6 months and nada, zip, nothing. So accept that your karma is such that you will always want to do good renders and will. Be happy!

Well I went back and looked at the rules. Music is silent on content that is provided by a software package. I personally think that it should be eligible. It is content that came with a free version of DAZ. Now the Poser content I am not so sure about. I have Debut and it came with 2 or 3 Gig of content. I got Debut free last Dec. I bought PoserPro2010 and got some additional content Debut did not have. So for the Debut content my take is it is a no count. No link but I didn't pay for it. The stuff that came with Poser Pro I would count as paid for because I paid for the software that it came with even though renders with Poser are allowed.

So does that stuff count or not? After reading all the posts I am lost.
