I installed Malwarebytes Windows Firewall Control and now whenever I launch DAZStudio I get an alert that Dazstudio.exe is trying to connect to 162.249.104.200.
At first I thought it's not an issue. It's DAZ.
I rust retired last year from the IT Industry with close to 35 years experience.
Prior to retiring we had a few desktop computers and network shared hijacked by ransomeware attacks.
I thought it would be best to play it safe.
My concern is when I do "whois" query the DNS name does not come up as DAZ or DAZ Studio.
It is reported to belong to an entitty named "BlackMesh Network Operations".
Can someone verify if this is indeed DAZ?
For now I have the IP blocked.
Cheers & many thanks...

BlackMesh is our current datacenter operator, so it is trying to talk to us and not some mystery third party.
As to why it would be trying to talk to us, do you have the anonymous activity logging enabled? Or do you have Connect setup to automatically login? Either of those would attempt a connection.
I have it set to auotmatically login. I just purchased some items from DAZ and I'm getting the same request from Daz Install Manager. So, I'm not worried. Just would rather be cautious then sorry... Love DAZ. You guys are #1 in my books...
Malwarebytes and Chrome in general have been acting up for me, it seems to be checking something freezing the browser by looks as after the browser finally responds I get a scan result from MWB saying everything OK
and it has happened with DAZ studio and a few other programs too, it seems to be acting very cautiously checking stuff.
