Invisible ears?

Is there a simple way to make the ears invisible?  Doesn't matter if they leave holes or not.  Would also like them back again afterwards, so I'm looking for something that can be toggled on and off.

For which figure? In Genesis 8 (and I think 3) they have their own surface, so you can set them to 0% opacity (and turn off other effects that show even on transparent surfaces) to hide them. Otherwise you'd have to use an opacity map, or use the Geometry Editor tool to select their mesh and assign it to a new surface (or Face group, then use the Joint Editor to add a new do-nothing bone and assign the ear group tot hat as its Selection Group in the Tool settings pane, which would give them an eye in the Scene pane).

Thanks! Genesis 8. I was able to open up the Geometry Editor, and in the Tool Settings panel, there's an eye icon for the Ears under Regions. Unchecking this makes them disappear.
