Invisible Mesh Light ?

Hello,
I want to make a diffuse light in Iray mode.
Balls that would be balloons of light somehow.
I create a new Spot Light or a Linear Point, I transform into Mesh Light by working on Light Geometry.
But when rendering my image, the spot appears as a black rectangle.
I would like to "play" this spot (or linear point) in my scene. It should be invisible. Someone can help me please.

You can make the light invisible to direct view by turning off the render Emitter property, but it will still show when viewed through other surfaces or in reflections. You can make an almost invisible light by using ana ctual object (such as a plane primitive from Create>New Primitive), selecting its surface, and applying the Emissive Iray shader preset, then adjusting the emission properties as desired and setting the Cutout Oapcity to a very low, but non-zero, value.
Great! thank you very much Richard...
Your technique is like this system "iray ghost light kit 2" no?
Yes, the Ghost Light sets are pre-made examples of the technique with soem nice helpers, such as the indicator of which side is the light source to help in placement.
Thanks for your help.
