Dforce Trench coat outfit

I'm having some trouble with the fit of the jacket. Without dforce it warps at the bottom. With dforce there is a flap that clings to the pants on the right side even in simple poses. I tried it with base male, and with a character. The results were not good. Is there something simple I can do to fix this?

Is that starting from the zero pose?

I got this but haven't used it yet. Does it have any if the traditional "skirt" type bones below the waist to get the geometry all outside of the figure before starting the simulation? With other outfits that I'm using dforce on its not uncommon for me to need to move it further away from the figure before simulation, and at least in the store here a lot of items still have some "traditional" rigging to help get there.

Ok, yeah, no extra bones, and I see what you are saying. Part of the right side flap that should be connected to the right thigh bone (I assume) is connected to the left thigh bone. I'll take some screenshots later and send a note to support about it. I will try some more simulations, but once I adjusted it to not intersect with the thighs, it stayed distorted. I'm not sure why, since it doesn't look like the geometry is touching, I would have thought the simulation would have adjusted it back to normal.

Exactly. The set includes two jacket presets. One is conforming the other is dforce, the dforce does work if you fully simulate it from the memorized pose but that should not be needed for every pose especially if it is conforming. I honestly wonder if the conforming one is the dforce one since surely this problem would be noticeable to q&a during testing.

Unless I missed something earlier, I only saw the option to load the coat on its own, and to load the wearables preset with all three items. I was seeing the same effect with the coat whether loaded separately or as part of the wearable preset. If another one is showing up though connect or something like that, maybe there is more than one version and that's the issue (I installed via DIM).

I find the product confusing. One shows the coat alone, with the words dforce on it. The other is a wearable preset for it all without dfoce. I assuemd that meant one was conforming, the other was dforce. But I guess, maybe I'm just confused. =-(
