Do Body Morphs and Shape Shift do the same thing or should I buy both?

I would like to make more modifications to the figures than I am able to with the packages I have purchased. I have seen Female Body Morphs and Shape Shift both offered on Genesis 8. They appear to do the same thing. 

I thought someone here may be able to recommend one of these or another similar package, and to weigh in on whether having both is redundant or useful. Neither is prohibitively expensive but if they tread the same ground I would prefer to only purchase the better one. Thank you everyone.

    Not redundant at all depending on which ones you end up using. You should have the Daz body and face morphs for the figure you are using, they are pretty much must haves. As for Shape shift, it will had many more morphs that the DAZ ones don't have and even a few that are similiar. In the description on the store pages it should list the morphs that it has.

    What shape are you trying to achieve?

    The third-party morph sets like Shape Shift do not usually offer the same morphs as the base Head and Body morphs, since it's expected most people will already have those - sometimes they may if there are different approaches, or if the PA doesn't like the Daz morph, but it's not usual.

    If you go with the Shape Shift you will probably want to go with 3 of Zev0's products.  The first one below doesnt have chest and butt shaping/controls.  So thats why you would have to get the 2nd and 3rd ones.  And you can get those individually or in a bundle.  BTW as of right now the three products below are 40% off so $18+$20.  You could get the female body morphs pack by Daz Originals instead (which as of right now is also 40% off at $12) and it has body, chest and butt shaping but it has fewer options when compared to the Zev0 products.
