Let's Talk Next Gen Daz Studio

I have and still do work with Daz Studio almost daily and there are some things that need to be improved.
---------------------------
Moving the current camera LARGE distances.
I sometimes work with those MASSIVE city/set models. and even worse, I add more stuff to them.
The current solftware is great at small distants changes and horrible at large ones. There are times where I will be at one end
of a model and need to be at the other end....rapidly.
Possible suggestions - XYZ mini map (3 small simple views that cover all of the placed objects) adjustable. Just click on the X,Y,and Z mini map
for where you want the current camera to 'teleport' to and click a teleport confirm button. whole thing should be in it's own optional window.
Some folks don't need it.
-------------------------
Give my graphics card a break...lol
I would like to see a button that I can click that will automatically hide any models not in current view, AND if I move the camera, it updates it.
-------------------------
The ability to pause a render and restart it.
------------------------
that is just a few things I would like to see in later generations of Daz 3D Studio
Comments
The best way to travel a long distance is to select an object far away and click the View: Frame button at the top right of the viewport.
Using a camera you could do this already - have a configuration, in Another activity tab say, with a four-up viewport division, set them to the orthogonal views plus an extra, and use cmd/ctrl-F on each to frame the whole scene. Then switch to that, select the camera, and drag it around as needed.
will check that, thxs
Assuming you are not looking for a pause and save option, so you can restart it in another session, the pause option does already exist. If you are rendering to a new window, you can cancel the render in the 'progress window' and there is then a 'resume' button available in the render window. Click on this option and the render will continue from the point at which you cancelled it.
Regarding moving the camera large distances, have you considered just making multiple cameras and placing them in the locations where you'll want to have a camera? Then just jump from camera to camera by selecting from the dropdown in the viewport.
Also, to initially place the camera(s) you can use Align: first select an object located far away (or even a strategically placed Null if you want), then shift select the camera, and click Align and it will instantly move the camera to that object's location.
How about fixing the Render Settings dialog box so it doesn't open so small and have to resized all the time?
Wish DAZ studio could do what I rely on in Carrara,
have multiple cameras and be able to set any camera in the scene to the parameters of those cameras along the timeline without having to tediously copy every parameter unless there is a secret obscure way to do this I am ignorant of,![devil devil](https://www.daz3d.com/forums/plugins/ckeditor/js/ckeditor/plugins/smiley/images/devil_smile.png)
I sometimes just want to render an image series of every camera shot in a multiple camera preload along the timeline from one camera not tediously render one camera at a time or use some batch render script
Select the camera at the desired position/time, copy, select the camera to modify, paste.
You would think so but for me it always leaves out some information, is this under edit copy for object or in the parameters tab?
Edit > Copy > Copy Selected Item(s) - Ctrl+C
Edit > Paste > Paste to Selected Item(s) - Ctrl+V

The actions are the same regardless of where they are triggered from; the main menu, a pane option menu, a context menu...
