Edit G8 Powerpose Template?

DAZ,

Respectfully, how do you edit the template or create a new blank slate? If not for any other reason than personal use.

I ask becuase clearly the template is flawed and that it's locked from creating or altering says this is an area that cannot be used by PA or potential use by content creators.

Let's point out the right click controls which smartly and realistically should be used to rotate the limbs while the left click should be used for bending. This is a concept I used often over the last 7 years when creating the templates for your legacy based figures.

Yes all the additional controls are great and nice to have but when little features don't flow with past versions shouldn't be we able to make our own changes? Again, if not for personal use.

You can't start from the Genesis 8 templates. You can use the generic template as a starting point for a new set-up, but first you'd have to tell DS not to use the protected template and I'm not seeing a way to do that in the UI (which might in turn make it impossible for others to use your custom template if you created one.

    Richard,

Thanks for the help....but I'm not looking to share my templates. I'm out of that racket. I'm merely looking for what makes my work flow easier.  and use of the right mouse for twisting limbs is a natural.

Ie. making the limb bend and turn with the same left click isn't what most people want. I know, I've received many messages on Deviant Art asking not to have that and my going back to make changes with Genesis, G2 and G3 templates.

So that said....seperateing them guarantees twist and bend won't happen at the same time but making a template from scratch...who really wants to do that?
