Postgre SQL CMS install problems

I installed 4.10 earlier today. Every time I open the program, I get a resource error message. I went back and downloaded the Postgre SQL CMS. Same problem. How can I fix this?

Are you downloading and installing it through IM or getting through a different source?

I know there were two different versions of Postgre SQL CMS and one of them is obsolete the Postgre SQL CMS beta is the one that is inactive.

make sure you are letting Postgre SQL CMS get through your virus program.

Well you need to Install CMS Postgres & DAZ Studio again after deinstalling them. Make sure you install WITHOUT 'run as Administrator' aka 'Elevated Permissions'

Best way to fix it if you're not sure of the current state is:

    As 'normal' Windows User

    0) Make sure your DIM Account & Preferences & such are configured correctly. If you are only install the DAZStudio Release or the DAZ Studio Public Beta & not both just do those steps.

    a) Uninstall DAZ Studio (release)

    b) Uninstall DAZ Studio (public beta)

    c) Uninstall the CMS Postgress, Valentino to CMS (release), Valentino to CMS (public beta)

    d) reboot

    e) Install CMS Postgress

    f) Install Valentino to CMS (release) - I don't think this is needed anymore but the filter is still showing up in my DIM list of products so I install it anyway

    g) Install Valentino to CMS (public beta) - I don't think this is needed anymore but the filter is still showing up in my DIM list of products so I install it anyway

    h) Install DAZ Studio Release

    i) Install DAZ Studio Public Beta

    j) Configure DAZ Studio Release 'Preferences' for your DAZ Content library so that it's correct

    k) Configure DAZ Studio Public Beta 'Preferences' for your DAZ Content library so that it's correct

    l) Enter your Serial Numbers in your Installed Plugins (I think you need to do it for DAZ Studio Public Beta or DAZ Studio Release for most plugins not both of them, and it registers them for both.

    m) exit & start DAZ Studio again - check your serials to see if they are OK. Check to see if your products are installed, if not install them (OPTIONAL) or copy the DIM Manafest and other DIM files from your old install to the new DIM install configuration database location)

    n) (OPTIONAL) If you have new installed Windows and didn't export and then Import your CMS data even if you configure your DAZ Content Library in Preferences to be in the current location where yours reside they will in DS show up as uninstalled greyed out and be installed via the DAZ Connect if you try & access them via a new DAZ Connect download - probably not what you want. So to fix those installs you need to  start DIM and all your products should show in the DIM "Installed" tab so to avoid reinstalling all via DAZ Connect (which would be ultra slow and redownload all your products) & update your CMS dB to be correct do this:

         i) In Windows account management lower the 'Choose to Notify about changes to your computer' to 'Never Notify'

ii) check the box 'Products' that will select all the DAZ Products you have installed with DIM. Make sure DAZ Studio is not running.

iii) click 'Start Queue' & wait a few hours

iv) Now once that is done, click the 'Ready to Install' tab in DIM

        v) check the box 'Products' that will select all the DAZ Products you have ready to install in DIM

vi) click 'Start Queue' and wait a few hours again, a much longer few hours then when deinstalling though

vii) In Windows account management lower the 'Choose to Notify about changes to your computer' to the 'Default Notify' for Windows again

vIII) Exit DIM & start DS & check & all your products should show as correctly installed now
