Setting up panes on a second monitor with side tabs

I am setting up Daz for a dual monitor system. I don't seem to be able to configure the panels on my second monitor with side tabs. It always runs tabs across the top of the panel and won't allow me to snap onto the sides. I assume there's something simple I'm missing. Any ideas?
