Why won't my skies render dark?

[Why won't my skies render dark?] Both with Sun-Sky or Scene-Dome and even at 1:00 AM in UK on summer solstice? I thought that was far enough south to get dark at 1:00 AM in summer?

Example

 

NEVERMIND : I had the 'Environmental Intensity' above 1.0 which is the default. Higher value is like higher ISO value film it makes the entire seen brighter.

    If you follow the link in my signature to my DAZ Gallery & look at the render of that set in my "Really Realistic Renders" section you'll see the render of that set along with a scene set up as in that render attached as a duf file & converted to iRay. Take note the set bundle that includes all those models doesn't include a sample scene. surprise
