V4 missing in DAZ studio, and teen ashley does not even load at all

Not sure if it is a known issue, but I can download V3 and related items no problem, but my V4 content does not show up in the figures areas of the smart content.

I had to install it by hand using DAZ installer, and even in this way; I see a triangle with an exclamation mark in it. When I load V4; I get a screen asking which morphs do I want to load, and then I get a lot of errors when it try to load morphs.

I know that it is an old figure but was wondering why V3 content is working. I don't even have poser installed anymore, so I can't check if V4 load there at all. Is this a known issue?

Also I have the "teen Ashley" character, which is based on V4, althoug it is classified as "accessory", and loading it won't load any figure at all.

V4 and other generation 4 figures can’t be installed with Connect as they use a particular system for morphs which requires running a batch file to “initialize” the figure after installing morphs so it can use them. So you need to install them with DIM or manually.

The batch file to run will be in :runtime:libraries:!DAZ and is called « DzCreateExPFiles ». I think DIM is supposed to run it after install but it can’t hurt to do it again just in case.

If it’s the only content you installed with DIM then another thing might be that it’s installed in a directory which is not registered in DS as a content directory, (DIM default install directory is not registered in DS by default). 

So go to Edit > Preferences > Content tab > Content Directory Manager, and check that the folder you installed V4 to is listed under both "DS formats" and "Poser formats", and if not then add it (select the folder which contains the « Runtime »)
