Renaming Libraries

I have a question regarding renaming libraries within Daz, to make it easier to find my "stuff".

In Poser, I renamed the products in certain folders within my runtime.  For example, under characters, my library looked something like this:
- V4 Character 1
- V4 Character 2
- V4 Nails_Not so Perfect

I did the same thing with other folders like poses, props, faces, hands.

My question is, can I do the same thing with the folders within DAZ, as long as I do not modify the folder names of the objects, texture files.  For example, under the Genesis 8 folder, I want the folder names to look like this:
Genesis 8 Female folder
- G8 Character 1
- G8 Character 2
- G8 Character 3

I assume this is possible; however, is it okay to do so, or to I risk messing something else up (beyond the ability for DAZ installer to remove those folders)?

You can, in most cases at least, but that will break the Content Management System. Smart Content is meant to enable you to filter by base figure, or you could use a new set of categories - one per figure - and add the sets to those by right-click on the product's folder>Categorise.

Thanks Richard, I guess I'll leave things as is for now :)
