Building a neighborhood?

Hi i hope this is in the right place, since i am new and probably asking a newbie question. I am wanting to build a highly detailed neighborhood for a visual novel i will be creating. I plan on filling the neighborhood with people and designating them to their own homes and i will eventually add a city.

I have seen that some people have HQ buildings and neighborhoods and also cities.. and i just don't know where people get them? Are there other sites to get models that work with Daz and genesis 8?

There's "Urban Sprawl 3" by Stonemason:  https://www.daz3d.com/urban-sprawl-3 ;
which is a huge city with individual blocks and buildings that you can load. It's the biggest and best of the bunch imo...but you may want to wait for a sale since it's expensive.
