Curious whether anyone is using the RTX (2080 or 2080Ti) video cards in their computers with DS?

Looking to build a new beast and curious whether the RTX 2080's will work with DS

    Yes. I am running an RTX 2080 Ti paired with an GTX 1070 Ti using the 4.11 (64-bit) Beta and the latest NVidia drivers.

    Runs great.

    I just upgraded to one and asked the same question in this thread https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/320586/how-many-here-are-using-the-newer-rtx-gpus

    keep in mind they only work with the beta DS and not 4.10.

    Curious, did you ever get an answer on this from the other thread...

    "I just realised something, you need DIM to d/l and install the Beta, correct? (I never use DIM)"

    I never use DIM either and would prefer not to if I can avoid it.

    Yeah,you have to use DIM to download the beta. I just did it.  I was amazed at how fast and efficient it was at d'ling all my content and installing it while i went to the store, pretty impressive.

    You gotta use the DIM AFAIK. I also never use it and avoid it as much as possible, but I couldn't figure out a way around it. You'll have two installs if you don't uninstall 4.10, just a heads up. No issues, just disk space. You'll also need to redo any tweaks you had made. Your custom layouts are saved in %appdata%\Roaming\DAZ 3D\Studio4, you'll need to move the user_layouts folder over to %appdata%\Roaming\DAZ 3D\Studio4 Public Build
