Question on dforce

I do well with dforce on draping things over tables and figures standing. But I struggle with figures sitting down mostly in dresses and skirts. An example is having a female figure in a dress driving or sitting with legs crossed.
The dress goes nuts between the legs and hips. As I said this is no problem if the figure is standing cross legged but in a seated position.
I don’t think I maybe understanding collisions with the garment against chairs, sofas, beds and car seats. Is there a tutorial that can explain how to use dforce for a seated figure in skirts and dresses? A good slow moving tutorial that doesn’t speed through things for us dense people LOL!
thanks

In general I recommend using timeline for dforce, as it gives you the option to alter poses along the timeline.
You will often get into trouble if the dforce item gets "trapped", i.e. if a character is sitting on o chair is is best to leave a little gap between the character and the chair, so there is room for dforce to work. If it is essential you migth lower the character once the simulation is done.
