How to create a morph based around another morph rather than the base figure?

I've been out of the daz loop for a good while, and for some reason my brain doesn't want to wrap around this.
Let's say theres So and So for Victoria 8. V8 is a morph for G8F. What's the right way to go about creating such a morph so that V8 herself doesn't get baked into my own morph and would still remain an ownership requirement? I've only done it against base figures, and just realized I've never thought about the process when another morph is involved.

Let’s say you started from G8 using 60% of V8 shape, and took this in a modeling program to create a custom character from this “base”.
To create the morph in DS you would also need to start from “G8 with 60% V8”, then use morph loader pro to load your modified character using the “reverse deformations” option: that way when DS creates the custom morph it only contains the differences between “G8 with 60% V8” and your shape.
Save that custom morph as an asset and create a preset for your character: it will apply V8 morph at 60% + your morph at 100%.
Thank you!
