hey guys i'm thinking in buying victoria 8, but i really want to know what are really the difference aside morphs and skin?? like her mesh have more poly???, i can use any genesis 8 morphs which i had bought on her???, to be clear i means in meshe quality, what her mesh have better than genesis 8 base??? or they are the same??? just with a "victoria morph" and some physical elements??? talking about "bending" when animating her she have better "bending"? like more realistic bendings than genesis 8??, how exactly she is better???

Victoria 8 is a character for G8F, the underlying mesh is the same and so is the base rigging.

You can combine the V8 morph with other G8F morphs.

Like Leana said. She is basically a character morph that provides you with the foundation for other characters.

You can mix and match her morph with other morphs as usual. Her skin texture will give you some versatility with makeup and it is of a higher quality than the vanilla skin texture. You will get some options for the eye leashes too if I remember correctly. Also, she has some HD details (additional product) that are specifically designed for her and the characters that derived from her.

interetins another question what means "HD" which i see in a lot of products, what means when we have a let's say paul HD or have a paul elite, what means it??, it means having more poly or more detailed normal map?? what means that HD or elite things which i see in many characters and even morphs, what make then "special", what is the difference between normal and HD/Elite?

HD means high-definition morph, a moprh that is able to manipulate the additional vertices in the SubD mesh rather than just the base mesh - it does allow more detail.

HD means "high definition" in this case. A HD morph is a morph which was built using a subdivided version of the figure mesh, which means it has more polygons and so more details. You need a special tool that only Daz PAs have access too to be able to load the HD mesh as a morph.

Usually a HD character is the combination of a "regular" morph and a HD "details" morphs.

As for "Elite", there was a series of characters for Generation 4 figures and Genesis called like that because they had high resolution textures (for the time) made from scans of real people.

thanks for the answers, the basically it's a sort of "fake extra polygons without really have extra polyongs like a character with 16k will deform in the same way a 32k would deform without need be a 32k, right? really interesting.

Another question, beside the basic, victoria 8 and michael 8, what could be others really good characters that you could indicate for game design (very well sculpted morphs and very good compatibility?

It's not fake extra polygons, the base mesh is subdivided multiple times and so is actually higher resolution.

I don't do game design so I have no idea what characters are good for that. But maybe you could take a look at the other G8 core figures: https://www.daz3d.com/genesis-8-core-figures
