Can you hide a group of items at the same time?
From what I understand, dForce will "see" anything in scene during the simulation and hiding objects that don't need dForce can speed things up and make it more accurate. Is there a way to "Select All" and like..."Mass hide"? If you know what I mean. Instead of hiding each element one at a time?

Multi-selection and using the Parameters pane should work - note that there's a Visible in Simulation button, you don't have to hide items for simulating then show them again form rendering.
Whatchoo talkin 'bout Richard Haseltine?!
or if you're more Old School
Okay Lucy, 'splain!
Meaning what and where is Visible in Simulation button?
Select all the things you want dForce to ignore, then in the parametrs pane turn off Visible In Simulation.
Thanks Richard, that sounds like the simplest way. I'm just thinking maybe I have a different Workspace set up than you. I've looked all over in the Parameters Tab and don't see that box.
Okay I found it under the Simulation Tab. I have everything selected in the Scene Tab except the character wearing the clothes I want to simulate. Then I click the button. Cool. But if I select say, a chair and go back to the simulation tab, it says Visible In Simulation: ON...do I need to lock it or something? I thought I just told it OFF. Sorry for all the dumb questions. Obviously it's my first time using this feature.
Check the Parameters pane option menu (the lined button in the top corner, or right-click the tab) - I think you will find that Display Separate Items is checked, which is why you have a great long list of items down the side, you want Consolidate Properties checked and Display Separate Items unchecked.
