I really like the sci-fi corridor 2013 but it's only showing up as 30% off, is it not included in the same sale?

Am I to conclude from this that StreetWear is Stonemason?

Either way, stacked with the Mega Prize this could well be the sale of the year!

Very nice :) The love of detail you put into each item is quite tremendous. Bought the new ones and did stock up a bit on pieces I didn't have had yet. Thank you for making the new items and the sale. Can't wait to play with my 'toys' :)

I would have been an utter fool to let this opportunity slip past, so I picked up Urban Sprawl 2. It's absolutely gorgeous, as expected from the talented Stonemason. Combined with Urban Sprawl 1 which I purchased a while back and some of the awesome ruins I have, I expect there will be plenty of scope for playing around with it.

One thing I'm especially glad of is that it's more modular, so I can create my own custom cities. Thanks for the sale, Stonemason, and thanks for the great work you do.

Have a few of your items, just not sure yet if my wallet would be happy with me getting more right now.

    Great work.

Need to budget as well, so I'll have to make some tough choices here ><</p>

Stonemason, I was just looking at Urban Sprawl 2 when it hit me, that is a massive kit, which got me wondering. In order to set up a scene that would look like a couple blocks arranged and the props and people, along with the clothes and whatnots, not to mention adding lights....what kind of computer do you have cause less then 1/4 of that would crash Daz on my computer...lol

Question for Stefan - or anyone else who can answer it: what is the difference between Planet Alpine and Planet Lava?

And before you all rush to say "Well, one's blazing hot and the other is freezing cold," yes, that key difference didn't escape me. My question is how much overlap there is between the two sets. When they first appeared, I'd assumed that 'Alpine' was simply an extension of 'Lava' with different shaders, lights and backdrop, and that you'd need 'Lava' to make it work. But the note on the page says that 'Lava' is not required for 'Alpine'.

The buildings look very similar, not to say, identical. My assumption is that 'Alpine' contains essentially the same building models, but repackaged in a different context. Is this correct, or are the buildings in fact significantly different?

Very nice Stefan, good to see you jumped into the clothing market as well, congrats. I think we can expect some really cool stuff and some decent functionality in there? :)

Btw, a good while ago you said that you were working on a remake of the Skyrider as well, is that one still on the menu?

It certainly looks huge, but it's very cleverly made. You can add in the buildings individually if you wish, and it's broken into segments as well, so you can pick and choose how to much to load in.

For what it's worth, loading in the entire Urban Sprawl didn't noticeably impact my machine at all, and the image above I did in a single render with 2x Genesis figures and 2x Genesis 2 figures. While I admit to my machine being a bit beefy, the Sprawl alone seems pretty easy going on resources, so you should be fine.

I just wanted to say that these new items from Stefan (Streetwear and Stonemason) are absolutely incredible. I'm especially thankful for the 50% discount :-) I don't think I could afford them at the regular price, Even at the discount, they are still not cheap. If it were anyone but Stonemason, I would probably have to (regretfully) pass on them.

I would have to agree,I've never had any trouble rendering sprawl2 with other figures included,I make all my sets with the expectation people will be adding other props, people, clothes etc
current pc is an i7,12gb ram,64 bit...but sprawl 2 was built using an older quad core.

attached an image of 10 urban sprawl 2's ,instanced using DS4 :)..which rendered in about 10 minutes I think

Urban Sprawl2 is a great model, plenty of angles, lots of details, and very efficient on the poly count. Those are all Genesis in the shot.
