Need help with G8F eyes

Hi all,
I'm having trouble making my G8F figures eyes look real. They look a muddy and painted on and, the reflections are muted. I've played around with the settings included cornea bulge without much success. Does anyone have any suggestions to make them look better?
Thanks

Your lighting is flat. Eyes need either direct or reflected light to show a reflection. Diffuse lighting won't do it.
As fastbike1 says, you need something to reflect. A large softbox (not necessarily bright enough to influence the rest of the lighting). Might take some experimentation to get he positioning right. Also try using the thin water shader on the cornea and eye moisture as a start - tweak from there.
Specular Eye light is the solution :) (thats when lights in the scene isnt good enough for eye reflections)
you also need to change the Eye Cornea Bulge to 100% to get more realistic reflections
check this video where he explains how to add Specular Eye light

you probably need to increase the luminince more than he had set it to here.
the tricky part is to move the eyelight to a position where you get the most reflections in the eyes
if you get Render Studio Iray you have the specular eyelight build in already

@pat1
Iray doesn't use "specular lights" like 3DL. If you want reflections in Iray you need a light source shining on a reflective surface. The answer here is to use Photography type lighting to get highlights in the eyes.
Colm's Specular Eyelight is just an Iray light generally positioned to shine in the eyes. I can only assume that the title is meant to help folks that are unfamilar with PBR or photographic lighting.
Thanks guys! I'll give everyone's suggestions a go.
well the renderer above have a specular eye light
if those reflections isnt good enough then i dont know what TS is after.
Or post an image of correct eye reflections as you see it..that way i can see what you are talking about.
post something from that uber renderer 3DL so we can compare ;)
