Art Studio And Galleries

What's the difference between the Art Studio, where individuals post their renders on their own thread, and a Gallery? Aren't they the same thing?

We're posting our images in the Art Studio section (which isn't linked in the Forum drop down menu) so what's the need for Galleries? And are THEY going to be prominently featured with links and in the drop down menu?

    No, there is the world of difference between Galleries and an Art Studio Forum. We have encouraged people to post Portfolio type threads because they wanted somewhere to post their images while we didn't have Galleries, but it wasn't actually the original purpose of the Art Studio, if you read the forum description that appears in the forum index.

    The galleries from the old site were very functional, and the new ones are supposed to be very cool. Looking forward to them.
