Armpit deformation/distortion

Whenever I use Transfer Utility to transfer G8F body shape to G3F, I always end up with this nasty deformation under G3's armpit? I use Rigging to shape after transfering the morph, so that's not the problem. The deformation is only visible when the arm gets close to the body.

Hi - I have exactly the same problem; with the exeption the distortion appears when I use the transfer utility in the opposite direction - when I transfer G3F body shapes to G8F. A similar problem is described here: https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/310076/how-to-fix-genesis-8-female-armpit-gap - perhaps indeed JCMs (Joint Controlled Morphs) are causing the problem. But I have no idea why they would be activated only after a transfer utility action; and of course - I cannot identify (or dial out...) any JCMs in "currently used" to correct the distorsion.
Any new ideas or solutions?
Or perhaps it’s the LACK of JCM’s - perhaps you’re seeing what the raw shapes do before the PAs add the JCMs to fix such issues...
I did not find out what's the cause of the problem so far - but at least in some cases/poses changing the value of (hidden...) pJCMShldrDown_40 does help. Interestingly in some cases decreasing the value is necessary, and in some cases increasing.
I see this problem on many custom characters, and after trying to add D-Formers to fix it, I've given up and settled on "fixing" it in post.
I guess the issues you have with joint bending after using Transfer Utility simply comes from using the wrong settings. Keep in mind that the Transfer Utility is intended to fit cloth geometry onto figures in the first place. Therefor the default settings are set for that cloth fitting purpose. My first guess is that you have transfered more than you want meaning you have somehow included the JCMs (Joint Controlled Morphs used for joint bend corrections) of the other source figure in the transfer process.
Before starting the transfer have a look into the Transfer Utility Options. If you want to transfer morph shapes from one figure generation to the other you just need to have Morph Targets checked under General options.
In the extended options on the right select Favourits and Sub-Components so only the morphs you have Maked as Favorits on the Source figure will get transfered (indicated as a heart icon on the morphs slider in the Parameters pane).
There are already other threads dedicated to the morph transfer with Transfer Utility
In lack of a sceenshot that shows the correct settings I reuse an image from an older post. Remember just select Morph Targets: From Source: Favorits and Sub-Components
