Question On: Connecting boots/shoes and fit to movement

Hi

I am learning! :) Been at things about two weeks and doing well - except...

While I can fit and adjust clothing and make them follow the figure, for some reason I cannot seem to do the same with shoes/boots. I can line them up so they look natural in posing, but as soon as I change a pose...though the clothes work great the boots stay right where they are. I also somehow managed to reverse it to where the footwear assumes the new pose but the figure didn't move. I'm sure I am doing something Simple wrong, but after reading everything, Thrice, I can't figure what. I am using LUCA for Genesis 8 Male, if it matters.

Other thing I am wondering about - Can Genesis 3 hair and clothing be used with Genesis 8 using "Fit To"? I can only find one hair I like for my female but its in 3.

Thank You all for this community! I will try to keep my questions infrequent. :)

Try parenting the shoes to the figure's feet instead of to the root node of the figure.

Have you actually fitted the boots to the figure.

Select the boots in the parameters tab under General in the Fit to box select the figure you want the boots to conform to.

If this is not working which boots are you using and are they made for G8M?

Thanks for the assistance. It appears that for the boots in question I first needed to apply a special foot shape (Kinda made it look like he's standing on his toes) but all is great now.

Appreciate the help/advice and will try to keep bugging folk to a minimum. :)
