If you go to the surfaces pane, select a surface with maps, find a property with amap applied, click the micro-thumbnail button by the colour picker/streength slider, and select Browse thatw ill take you to the folder - you can then copy the path from the file dialogue and use it in the destination application.

well when i do that it send to the "duf folder" where are the mats not the textures but somehow i managed to find some of the textures i was looking for, things could be much more simple if they allowed the maps to be properlly exported instead of we have to go look manually to find it.

The different 3D formats vary in which properties (and so maps) they carry over.

well in my case it would be obvious the fbx format, and it allow to export all the maps, a good exemple is the CC3 from realillusion it allow you to export all the maps needed, (they have a option where you say what you are going to do with the fbx like, unreal format, unity format)not just the base/diffuse map, which is very bad since for games you would need at last a base map, a normal map and in many cases a opacity map, this make daz 3d while in others aspects being above CC3 when comes to export texture it falling a lot behind others programs, even the most basic ones like CC fuse give you basically all the maps you need not just the diffuse, the only "extra" map you get is the alpha to work on the hair opacity, otherwise you are very screwed if you don't go looking for the others maps in the daz fodders which are really, really hidden and hard to find, some products even say which they come with the photoshop file for peoples can get and use the layers but even that i could also not find, that side is very frustrating.
