Somewhat modern truck, at least in my driveway: http://www.daz3d.com/pick-em-up-truck
Over on ShareCG, there's the Benzo Shark and the Benzo Convertible, with empty engine compartments. The engine for the cars is a separate download.

Not only is the engine exposable, it's removable - just the thing for a shop-garage render! (You'll have to find your own hoist and chains, though.)
Here is that Benzo convertible (Elele) but I tried a different engine.
Sorry for not specifying, but i need it for commercial renders.

While my two Llamaghinis dont have engines or hoods that open, if you find a V10 Lambo styled engine you want to pop in the Gallopngo, you can show it off by making the surface "Black Glass" transparent as it sits just above where the engine goes.
Wow... I actually have this one: http://www.daz3d.com/vehicles/car-ranger
