FREAKING EYELASHES.

I have this character, and he has a problem. A problem with eyelashes.
Idk why, but they just look so weird on him and make him look SO GIRLY.
And it's even more exacerbated since I changed his eyebrows.
Now don't get me wrong I have no qualms with girly men but this is just not what I want for this character.
I have tried shortening them, tried curling the lower lashes UP so they're not so long on the bottom. I don't know what to do here...
I'm using Vincent for m4 and I don't particularly want to change skins because I do happen to like this skin and I have put a lot of work into it (or rather, his eyebrows. replaced them with a merchant resource)
So ugh what do I do
I do not think this pic is considered nudity...y, since it's just his leg/hip?

If you posted a close up head shot we would be able to see the eyelash problem clearly. As it is with the image it is not clearly visible just what your problem is.

The eyelashes don't look girly to me. The way he's arching does. Specifically his neck.

The eyelashes would also be a little less obvious if the light source was moved to be a little more on top of him than to the side so that the eyeballs weren't completely shadowed. If that makes sense...

Yeah... I hate to say it, but that pose is an extremely camp one for a male human to take.

Try changing the opacity, or diffuse colour to brown or something of the eyelash.

Find a male character that has eyelashes that you like. Reapply this one. In the surface tab select the eyelashes. Hold control key, double click the matfile for the character with the better lashes. When the box pops up chose selected and replace and then hit okay. Problem solved.

Also, in the Parameters Tab -> Expand Head, Expand Face, Expand Eyes. Under Universal there's 'Eyelashes Hide Layer', it thins them out by hiding one layer.

Not to pile on, but I think most everything about the character (pose, appearance, facial expression) is "girly" so to speak. I don't think more "manly" eyebrows will make of difference.

Agreed! if anything, it looks as thought he is looking into the mirror thinking "i wish i had more feminine features" LOL.
