Can't see figure while trying to pose it
I am an absolute total beginner and am hitting a wall right away just trying to figure out how to pose a figure. The problem is, the moment I start sliding a pose control or make a move with the Active Pose tool or even just try to move the camera, the viewport goes blank so I can't see what I'm doing. That makes it impossible to get even close to the pose I actually want because I can't tell how far I've moved anything.
So I've got Daz Studio 4.10 on a 2015 Macbook Pro, 16 GB ram but nothing special graphics-card-wise. I don't need photorealistic output, I just want to play around. I've tried cranking down the settings, I have the Render Engine set to OpenGL, I have the viewport mode set to Smooth Shaded or even Wireframe, but it seems like it's not even *trying* to do interactive updates while I'm posing. Everything inside the white box that shows "1:1" in the top left corner just goes blank the moment I touch a pose control, and doesn't come back until I release it.
WTF, something must be set wrong. I watch tutorial videos, and in *those* they can move the camera around without the viewport going blank. I mean, I'm sure they have better graphics cards, but my computer doesn't suck *that* badly. I should be able to rotate a wireframe with 16GB ram.
Please help!

In the Draw Settings pane (bottom of the left-hand group in your screen shot) make sure that the Manipulation style is set to Use Current (Off)
Aha! Thank you.
