How to make partial glossiness / wetness

Hi folks,

Let's say I want to dip an arm in the water, halfway only, and pull it out.  How do I make just half of the arm looks wet / glossy? Do I have to tweak the skin material/texture in PS? Or is there another way in just using DS?

How about a geoshell, switch off all the surfaces except the arm, add an opacity mask and the the thin wall glass to just the arm of choice?

Never touched geoshell before. But that you've mentioned it, I've found a Simple Geoshell tut by Oso3d. Tried it myself and BINGO!!

    Thanks Nemesis !
