If your copy of DS 4.9+ has been allowed to connect to daz once you can thenceforward download the two offline packages (the content and the authorisation), place them in the Daz Connect library folder in /data/cloud/install/, and from the option menu of the Smart Content pane choose Install Offline Packages (the packages will then be deleted). It's a way to use Connect without a live connection, though system updates will probably require occasionial reactivations.
