Need help figures will not load

Daz Studio suddenly will not load genesis 8 figures. Props and scenes load fine just figures will not load all are correctly installed and worked till today

I have the same problem with G8F specifically, G8M loads OK. All other generations load OK. The problem appeared for the first time yesterday. It even happens with base G8F, no need for any layered character. The "Reading Asset"dialog appears, but the loading never completes (and by never, I mean I left it running over night yesterday and the character was not loaded in the morning).
Which version of DS are you both using?

I'm using 4.10.0.123 64-bit and 4.11.0.335 (Beta) - both are impacted
why hasnt daz studio noticed

take a deep breath, it'll be ok. since this isnt happening to everyone, it might be hard to figure out the issue. I have been opening DS off and on all day (4.11 beta) and have no issues with any figures not loading.
Since you posted this in the forums for the mods to see, the4 nenxt step is to file a support ticket with Daz. Hopefully it's an easy fix

I'm using 4.11 and I've not had this problem.
Support tickets are not gong to get replies over the weekend, and opening multiple tickets won't speed things up - please close the later tickets so the support team doesn't have to take time from giving help to do so.
When you say not loading, are you getting an error message? Or is it simply not appearing in the Viewport and/or Scene pane, but with no message?
I've fixed the problem in my case. Earlier in the week, I corrupted my CMS, and eventually decided to uninstall and install it. I am not 100% sure of the details or the sequence of events, but I think I installed the CMS beta rather than the production version. In retrospect, I also suspect that I might not have cleanly uninstalled the CMS before re-installing. After another uninstall, and no-stone-unturned cleaning of my system, I reinstalled the CMS, being careful to get the current production version and not the beta.
I don't know if the root cause of my problem was that I had a mixture of production and beta bits installed, had some bits missing competely, or had some other similar situation, but I am comfortable with the theory that some problem in my CMS installation was causing the figure to not load. Maybe just coincidence that I broke my CMS on the same day as alania's problems emerged, and that we seemed to have similar symptoms.
As far as I know the two are the same at the moment, and have been for some time - I can't recall when either showed an update last. In any event I am glad things are now working.
