How to use the supersuit fur shader with IRAY
Hey there! I recently bought the Supersuit Pro Bundle when it was discounted to almost nothing. I work with G8 figures and IRAY. Yes, I'm aware that using older products might sometimes be challenging. Mostly the product works fine.
However the Fur Shader doesn't work with IRAY. Is there an easy way to make it work? I'm not interested in solutions that involve spending money, it's not important enough for me. But it would be a nice shader to have in my library.

Not really - the fur shader uses the way that 3delight can apply displacement without needing actual geometry, In Iray to get a similar effect you'd need to apply a very high level of SubD which would be likely to overwhelm the system - and i think the shader is procedural anyway, so it would require complete reworking.
