New Laptop, stuck at Preparing Scene when using GPU.

Hello, I purchased a new 2080 MaxQ laptop and when I am trying to use Daz3D with the GPU it is stuck at preparing scene and when I click render it immediately finishes with nothing rendered. Using CPU only will work. I have tried installing the latest, 430.39, the creator driver 419.67, and 419.17. Neither works. I do not have an option for 417.71 for my drivers.

i would have video card and cpu checked for rendering. you maybe running out of video card ram. how much do you have?

I had a computer with fast cpu and 32 gb of ram but the video card only had 2gb of ram. when I went to render the scene and had only the video card checked to render, it would hang up and not work. needless to say i purchased a better video card with 6gb of ram and it worked great. this maybe the issue.

I was rendering just the Genesis 8 Starter Shirt. It uses very little resources. The RTX 2080 has 8GB of VRAM.

Make sure that you are running the newest beta version of Daz Studio

The general release (4.10.0.123) is still running an older version of Iray that does not support the RTX cards.
