hello guys i'm here again with one more question, i wask thinking in buy one or more body hairs products, but as aways i'm a little confused about it function im my project, i would ask to know how it works???, what is exactly this "fiber mesh??, it is "too high demanding like a high poly hair???, it's added direct to the body like a texture or it work like a eyelashes or hair being a extra mesh attached to the body??

it can be exported to external products like unreal???

for exemple this product:

https://www.daz3d.com/cc-shave-this--body-hair-for-genesis-8-males

it can be exported and if yes it ca be too much demanding(high poly like more than 1k poly)???

yeah, it is actual geometry and probably way to demanding for a game project.

and about that one with a "shell" i remember having a problem with the "shell in the centaur product", in the centaur when you export the model the "shell" don't get any influence from the bone and ending being more like a glitch then i needed to remove it before exporting, but in this case it could proper work?

The geoshell bodyhair from Jepe's Project 78 is light on resources because it doesn't have separate mesh. As to how it will export, I have no idea.

I think it's good to be careful before buying something. I'm pretty sure most of us bought a lot of things we couldn't use when we first got started with Daz Studio, though, so you are in good company!

However, be aware Daz has a 30-day return policy. If you buy something that won't work for you, it is possible to return it. Also, many of the products you'll look at have forum threads started by the artist, and you can ask them questions before buying. You can browse the Daz PA Commercial Products forum, or you can search via Google:

    • When searching through Google, start with: site:daz3d.com/forums commercial
    • If you only want English responses, you can use this instead: site:www.daz3d.com/forums commercial
    • Then add your keywords.
      • If you're looking at a specific product, use the product name as keywords.
        • i.e.: site:daz3d.com/forums commercial Sci-Fi Wall construction kit
      • Otherwise, use words specific to the function
        • i.e.: site:daz3d.com/forums commercial teeth morph genesis 8

It is possible to be more specific on Google for which forum, however, some of the PAs, and some customers, start threads in other forums, most often (I believe) in The Commons. By limiting the search to the forums, you don't get product pages in the results, but you will see relevent pages from multiple forums.

yeah that was what happened with me but thanks i could get the refund and was a lot of refunds :P, but was really my first time.

yeah some products while they look amazing "for rendering" when comes to use outside daz, they are pretty bad i'vbe learned that in the bad way,

yeah now i'm trying to contact the product creator wheneve i'm in doubt about a product if it's good or no and is really sad finding which a lot of then are really bad outside daz, could be really good if they could give a sort of "free" 24h hours return system to only use refund if really needed or even to replace the refund, or a system like that, because it could save a lot of time trying to contact the seller and later the site for refunds, could be good to have a way to make a "road test" before buy it could help find what is helpfull and what is not, specially when comes to morphs and addons.

So far most of my problems where really about incompatibility between daz and unreal in some points.
