Lighting default

For some reason my renders have turned dark and I can't figure out how to return the program to it's default.

I'd apreciate any help.

thank you.

Dark but still there or totally black? Iray or 3Delight? You can reset Render Settings by using the Defaults button in the Editor tab.

Dark but still there. Don’t know if it’s Iray or 3Delight. I’m kinda new. I’ll try looking for the defaults but every time I play with anything it just ends up making things worse and I have no clue how to get back without resetting the entire global default.  I did use the global default but it didn’t reset the lighting. Frustrating.

    thanks for the help.

Try adjusting the exposure setting (in Tone Mapping in the Editor tab of Render Settings, if you are using Iray - which is the default so there's a fair chance you are). You can see which render engine you are using at the top of the Editor and Advanced tabs in Render Settings.

    That worked! Thank you.
